Saint Lucy was born in 283AD and had a mother and a father. Her feast day is on December 13th. St Lucy was brought up by a wealthy family, and she was canonized in precongrigasion. St Lucy is the patron saint of blindness and she is well known for her beautiful eyes. Most of her background is kept a secret.

In St Lucy’s teenage years, her mother wanted her to marry a rich man but Lucy didn’t want to. For the next couple of years Saint Lucy worked in the service of God and she helped the poor.

Soon after, her father sadly died from a disease, and a few years after that her mother started having a bleeding problem and they tried to cure her but it didn’t work, but one night Saint Agatha appeared to Lucy in a dream and said her mother was cured.

Sadly Saint Lucy died in 304AD by getting torched to death, and after that her eyes where took out with a fork, because they were so precious that they had to keep them so they kept them and locked them away.
